Creating a new brand

Care For Coffee came to us for the creation of their new brand. Their service offers a mobile coffee roastery focussed on special events and festivals.

Care For Coffee's core sentiment to coffee roasting is real Care for Produce, People and Pour. Quality in produce and being proudly African needed to be reflected in the branding. Care For Coffee only uses organic fairtrade coffee beans sourced from African coffee farmers.

To be cost effective in print production and also reflect the humillity of the brand, a monochromatic colour scheme based on a deep brown was chosen. Raw paper stock, wooden surfaces and heseen fabric are used to reflect the earthiness of the brand.

The Care For Coffee speech bubble is a colloquial invite to share in the coffee experience and on a second level, represents the core sentiment of the company: real Care for Produce, People and Pour. It serves as the main logo device.

The cup icon symbolises Africa as the original source of their coffee and is used as a secondary branding element.

Vector illustrations of the African landscape are also used throughout the branding to reinforce the African heritage.
